New Support Measure by MALTA ENTERPRISE

A new support measure has been made available and can be accessed through ME website. Applications can be submitted through the client portal.  The support measure is designed specifically to support businesses planning to participate in events that are organised or supported by the Enterprise Europe Network and that are listed on the network’s calendar of events.  No other events can be considered. Below please find the salient points on this measure:

1. Type of Support shall be in the form of a cash grant to cover participation in up to three events annually with a maximum grant of €5,000.
2. Eligible costs include air travel for one representative participating in the event and participation registration. Per Diem for the days when the representative is participating in the event shall also be awarded.
3. Eligibility – applicants must be registered with the MBR as a limited liability company or a partnership, a registered Co-operative or registered with Jobsplus as self-employed; must not be defaulting on taxes owed to the CfR; be eligible for de minimis aid; must have already registered for the event or informed the EEN Malta desk of their intention to participate,
4. Application – the application form must be submitted prior to participating, yet applicant may attend the event before receiving an approval from the Corporation. The application form includes a declaration that should the Corporation establish, during its review, that the applicant is not eligible, no support will be awarded.
5. Deadline for applications –  30^th November 2023 (this will be updated once the de minimis regulation is updated)
