EENergy: Financial Support for Energy Efficiency Measures

The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise, and Industry, as part of the Enterprise Europe Network – Malta, is offering a unique opportunity for SMEs to kick-start their sustainability journey through the EENergy Project.

Through direct financial support of up to €10,000 and a simplified application process, EENergy seeks to achieve a minimum 5% improvement in efficiency for participating SMEs, reinforcing our commitment to a greener future, and supporting the crucial role of SMEs in this transition.

The Malta Chamber is holding an information session to provide you with an overview of how you may benefit from this initiative (applications close on 15th May).

It is widely acknowledged that SMEs stand to gain from engaging in climate action including financial savings, reputational benefits, efficient operations, and decreased risk exposure. While SMEs share several characteristics that make them highly heterogenous, several common challenges emerge in their efforts to tackle climate change. These range from time constraints, perceptions of non-urgency, financing shortfalls, a lack of human resources or uncertainties regarding the regulatory environment. To mitigate these challenges, we can help you to take the first steps in your sustainability journey and reaping the benefits of energy efficiency improvements.
