ISM 2025 – 7th International Conference on Industry of the Future and Smart Manufacturing

This event, organised by the University of Calabria and the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering of the University of Malta, and co-organised by Enterprise Europe Network (Calabria and Malta) brought together thought researchers, leaders, innovators, and engineers from Universities and industrial companies for 3 days of inspiring keynote talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities revolving around Industry 4.0/5.0. Over 300 registrants attended the conference. A doctoral workshop was also held a day before the event.

The B2B matchmaking event was held throughout the conference allowing participants as well as the online community to set meetings and hold discussions for potential business and research collaborations.

One of the rooms was dedicated to an Expo were local and international companies were given the opportunity to showcase their products and services that they offer.

A company mission was organised on the 11th November where international participants were invited to visit 2 local advanced manufacturing companies – Seifert and ST Microelectronics – followed by a visit to the University’s Engineering Research and Innovation Laboratories.
