We are pleased to inform you that the 3rd Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR) will take place in Catania (Italy), on 24-25 May 2018, under the slogan "Our Region, Our Future".

The Forum is organised by the Italian Republic in close cooperation with the European Commission and with the support of the EUSAIR Facility Point and aims to raise visibility of the EUSAIR and reflect on the progress made since the 2nd Forum held in Ioannina in May 2017.  The participants will have the chance to discuss funding mechanisms for all four thematic pillars of the EUSAIR and share concrete ideas on the future prospects of the Strategy.

Each year the Forum attracts numerous stakeholders, such as European Commission and other EU institutions, National ministries, Regional and Local authorities, Business sector, Academia and Civil society, who share views, exchange experience and discuss ways of cooperation. Side thematic meetings and cultural and social events will complete the programme of the Forum.

Following the success of the B2B events during the past editions of the EUSAIR Forums, the Enterprise Europe Network will organise a Matchmaking event between organisations and SMEs located in the Adriatic and Ionian Region in the morning  of the first day (24/5/18, 09:00-13:30)

The partners of Enterprise Europe Network in Sicily (Sicindustria and Consorzio Arca),  organise this half-day B2B event, in collaboration with the EEN Offices in the other EUSAIR countries (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia).

In addition, within the framework of the EU China Tourism Year 2018 (ECTY) and in collaboration with the China EEN offices, the Enterprise Europe Network will invite Chinese tourism businesses and stakeholders to participate in the B2B session in order to facilitate collaborations with EU counterparts.
