The EU and the UK now form two separate markets.

Inevitably, this will create barriers to trade in goods and services and to cross-border mobility and exchanges that did not exist until last month, in both directions.

The Malta Chamber in collaboration with the Enterprise Europe Network, the Government of Malta and HSBC will organise a webinar entitled ‘Deciphering the Brexit deal for businesses' to understand how it has been impacted during the course of the first month and a half.

The webinar will take place on Thursday, 18th February at 11AM.

The webinar will shed light on the substance of the Trade and Cooperation Agreement which covers several areas and goes well beyond a traditional free trade agreement. It will serve as an opportunity to analyse cross-country experiences on what the UK leaving the EU's ecosystem really meant in terms of common rules, customs operations, supervision, and enforcement mechanisms.
