MarTERA has launched a joint call for transnational research and innovation projects in the field of maritime and marine technologies. Applicants from Malta are eligible for funding.

The following Priority Areas are eligible for funding:

- Environmentally friendly maritime technologies
- Development of novel materials and structures
- Sensors, automation, monitoring and observations
- Advanced manufacturing and production
- Safety and security
